A leader, a follower and a servant to his community – this year’s Masiye Conference sees Africa’s very own, born and raised global field worker engage with the leaders of tomorrow in what it takes to be of evangelistic witness across different frontiers.

Zimbabwean by birth, and having spent time as a missionary worker in Mexico and Latin America since 2009, Phillip Ndoro is the Latin America Regional Director for Servant Partners, an social upliftment organisation impact urban poor communities with the Gospel. Whilst working across the southeast edge of Mexico City, he too is the Co-Executive Director of Siervos Socios Internacional, a missional coach and trainer.
As a holder of a BA degree in Theology and Masters in Territorial Economic Development and former FOCUS Zimbabwe General Secretary – the mandate for this year’s Masiye Conference is clear, to go out and make disciples irrespective of where you come from.

“There is a lot of distrust, people who have been neighbors for years would never talk to each other,” said Phillip Ndoro. “We’ve seen the house churches breaking down the walls in the community. People around the house churches are more united.”

Having served as a cross cultural church planter in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and South Africa, it is evident in his interpersonal missionary work and efforts that the church is more than a building – it is a community, active regardless of the setting.

Apart from his social work and church building initiatives, Phillip serves as a volunteer for Movida, a ministry that mobilizes young people for the work of missions. He is passionate about holistic ministry, mobilisation for missions and helping people discover their calling.

We look forward to welcoming Phillip back home to Africa as the EPSA movement and encourage all students, alumnus and young adults to attend this year’s Masiye Conference as a guide to unlock their gift and call for the field of evangelistic witness and ministry in various spaces across the globe.
