Did you know the Masiye logo is inspired by the regional movements across 28 African-nations all forming part of the IFES’ EPSA region? How awesome is that?!

What’s even more awesome is that we got to host this very conference for the very first time, and you stand the chance to join in the experience as we do it all over again!

What was #MasiyeConf17 like?

Happy campers gathered from across sub-Saharan Africa, whilst joined by the most eager of all international guest – some joining from across the United States – to engage in the theme of our launch event: “Let’s Go… Missions To God’s World”. With scripture reference to Matthew 10, verse 7 and verse 16 which speaks to proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near’ and to sent out like sheep among wolves, shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves – the #MasiyeConf17 carried a heartfelt message centered around the a profound mandate of proclaiming the Gospel in an difficult day and age, regardless of the circumstances.

Where did the #MasiyeConf17 take place?

Known as Cyara Lodge, a campsite in the mountainous region of Magaliesburg, a small town near the West Rand of Johannesburg, the conference was held between Tuesday, 3 October till Sunday, 8 October 2017 in South Africa. This was a stay-over conference with delegates sleeping onsite. Catering was supplied during meal times, offering the most delicious in local cuisine whilst equally accommodating various dietary requirements.
